Love your freedom. Keep it up.
Good technique and composition. Strongest point - expression - love it!
Wow, gorgeous! Did you do a sketch and/or an underpainting first?
^_^ Nope I suppose it does look rather melodramatic, though.
I just think it's pretty amazing when you can do something so free without some sort of a guide!
There was a motivation, an idea, beforehand, which changed gradually through the process and became, I suppose, more unsettling than what was intended. I used myself as a model, as I often do, to get the right lighting, etc.
That's awesome, you know I often work that way, the orginal idea that I have is so rarely what the work ends up as. I think that's the great thing about drawing people you know, you always have a model, something to use for reference, also I kind of like that it can make a lot of pictures feel a little like self-portraits, which can make them feel pretty personal
All my art is personal
That is good to know.^^ I think that any art that's worth it's weight has to be personal to a degree. You have to have a passion for what you do...otherwise you'd just go loopy...er.
"Acrylic and house paint on board" you mean that your paint is finished or not?
The board is the surface I'm painting on >.> Why do you ask?
I Love colors and forms..is this on board to continue it?
